CCP MEETING RESCHEDULED

The college credit plus meeting for any family interested in pursuing college-level courses while their student is in high school will be held February 14th at 5:30 p.m. It is a requirement that parent and student attend if they plan on pursuing college-level classes for the 2019-2020 school year.

NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

Madison High School is excited to announce Ricky Davis as its next head football coach. This is pending Board of Education approval in the scheduled February meeting.



Coach Ricky Davis is a graduate of Youngstown State University in 2017. He graduated with a Bachelor of Communications Studies. Davis was the Mohawks Co-Offensive Coordinator this past season in 2018.



As a High School athlete, Davis was a 1st Team GCL QB, 39th best quarterback in the USA according to ESPN, Elite 11 Invite, and signed with Youngstown State University.



At the collegiate level Davis, was a 4-year letterman at YSU. He led the Penguins to a Division 1, 2016 National Championship. He was coached by Bo Pelini, Donald D’Alesio, Rollen Smith, Nic McKissic-Luke, Ben Iannachione. Mentored and coached by Former YSU & Ohio State head Coach Jim Tressel.

DUKE ENERGY KITS

On 2/15/19, the 7th and 8th graders will attend a 40 min educational play to learn more about resources and energy conservation. The Resource Force is a free program provided by Duke Energy. They are offering FREE Energy Kits to anyone who signs up to request one. These Energy Kits include LED bulbs, a LED night light and an Energy-Efficient Shower head among other items. For every 100 kits requested for the Madison School District, we will earn $250 in cash prizes. Flyers will be sent home with the junior high students on 2/15/19 however, flyers will also be available in the main offices of both buildings.
